It was a special evening in Omkarananda
Ashram, when honourable Dr. Deep Goel, Director of the
Department of Surgery in B.L. Kapur Hospital, New Delhi, and 34
associates and relatives visited Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.
They all arrived on 11th May 2012 from
Delhi in the early afternoon and stayed in the Ashram's
beautiful guest house Omkarananda Gita Sadan, which is situated
directly at the Ganga, in Muni-ki-reti, via Rishikesh.
After they had refreshed themselves they
all went up to the Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas Headquarter,
situated on the top of a Hill in Omkarananda Nagar,
Muni-ki-reti, with view over the Ganga.
First the whole group received the
Blessings of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi in the Temple. All were
touched by the deeply spiritual atmosphere and the divine Beauty
of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and its Temples.
After they had Darshan of
Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir and other surrounding Temples,
all the guests were guided to Omkarananda Vidya Bhawan, the
Ashram's auditorium, where they could sit and relax and were
served tea and snacks.
The honourable guests from Delhi
surrounded Swami Vishveshwaranandaji, the President of
Omkarananda Ashram, and asked him a lot of questions and also
requested him for solutions to some of their problems. Swamiji
patiently listened to all of them and suggested solutions to
help them to overcome their problems.
All were very happy and grateful, that
they could talk to Swamiji.
On the next day, on 12th May 2012,
everybody could enjoy a dip in the holy Ganga and in the evening
all of them again came up to the Omkarananda Ashram Headquarters
to take part in the special Arati for Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi.
Afterwards a function was organized in
Omkarananda Vidya Bhawan to honour Dr. Deep Goel. The auditorium
was nicely decorated and small colourful lights spread a warm
atmosphere.
Swami Vishveshwarananda welcomed all the
distinguished guests in his kind and charming and joyous way and
